Porsche releases more powerful GT3 RS

Porsche announcing another version of its 911 is an almost monthly event these days, but the latest one is no normal 911 – it is an even more powerful version of its road-going race car, the GT3 RS.
The f128,466 limited edition model comes with the 4.0-litre naturally aspirated engine from the track-going GT3 RSR and boasts a whopping 493bhp – a boost of 58bhp over the 3.8-litre offering in the standard GT3.
This means the GT3 RS 4.0 is boasts the biggest engine in any 911 ever, and it gets to 62mph in just 3.9 seconds – a shade quicker than the 3.8′s 3.9 seconds. Read the rest of this entry »
